Close To You Shawl - level 4

This is a 3 session class on Saturdays from 2:00-4:00

Class Minimum: 2 people  *classes with low enrollment are subject to cancellation.  You will be notified in advance but please sign up early so we can plan. Thank you.

The Close to you Shawl is a triangle shawl worked with 1 skein of fingering weight yarn. This class will cover following a pattern, yarn overs, and keeping track of your stitches as you increase and shape your shawl. We have drop in office hours every tues from 6:00-8:00 and wed from 1:00-3:00.  The office help fee is waived if you bring a project from class. Feel free to stop by any time if you need extra help.

NEEDLES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own needles and we will be gauge switching at the first session.  This pattern calls for US 6 (4.0mm) needles.  You may end up sizing up or down to get gauge.  *bring needles with a 32" cord.

Skill prerequisites:
long tail cast on
knitting and purling
knowing how to knit flat on circular needles

Materials included in the cost:
-1 skein of Malabrigo Mechita (fingering weight)
