Aldo Beanie Pattern

The ‘Aldo Beanie’ get its name from Lake Aldo Leopold, our favorite lake near our house. In the winter, the entire lake freezes over, and it is just such a beautiful and calm winter landscape. And, while we enjoy the water all year round, we have been heading out on the ice every chance we get this season to play in the snow, explore, and practice our skating.

This worsted weight beanie uses four colors of yarn to create a fun fair isle design. I have included written instructions for both the brim and decrease sections and a chart for the main fair isle portion. When choosing colors, I suggest using high contrasting colors to really show off the design.
