Spearmint Mittens Pattern

The Spearmint Mittens are a quick knit and a super cozy winter accessory. This pattern calls for two different Malabrigo yarns: caracol and chunky. The mittens have a simple stockinette texture to really show off the boldness and colors of caracol. When choosing colors, I suggest finding a Malabrigo chunky colorway that pairs well with the colors in caracol. If the Caracol is variegated, just pick out one of the tones to match. This entire project is knit in the round on double pointed needles. The thumb is a gusset thumb that will be placed onto a placeholder and then picked up and finished up at the end. I have included a video link for a walkthrough on how to finish up the thumbs.
