Learn to knit & purl - Beginner level

This is a 3 session class on Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00

Class Max: 4 people
Class Minimum: 2 people  *classes with low enrollment are subject to cancellation.  You will be notified in advance but please sign up early so we can plan. Thank you.

*No refunds can be given after the start of the first class.  No make up classes are offered but you can stop by our weekly drop in help sessions.

This class is for the absolute beginner.  We will be working on 3 swatches over the course of 3 classes to get you comfortable with the mechanics of the stitches.  Our goal is to equip you with the skills to move onto larger projects such as scarves and blankets on your own.

We will cover the following stitch combinations: garter, stockinette, 1x1 ribbing

Skill prerequisites:
long tail cast on
knitting and purling
binding off

Materials included in the cost:
-1 skein of Malabrigo Chunky (bulky weight)
-1 set of Clover Bamboo straight needles size US 10.5
-1 pack of tapestry needles
